Go Pack Go!!
Yes, you guessed it, we are huge Packer fans from Wisconsin. We enjoy visiting Green Bay every August and attend training camp. Green Bay is such a fun atmosphere, everywhere you turn there is a reminder you are in Packer Country! I have been taking my kids up here every August and they have been collecting autographs every year. The best part about training camp is its FREE! You just have to show up and you can be feet away from our beloved Aaron Rodgers! Kids wait for hours for the players to pick their bike to ride to practice, Travis was lucky enough to have that happen one year! It gives me goosebumps to see the excitement of our kids favorite players giving them high fives as they head into practice. More Attractions Ok, I guess there is a little more that Green Bay can offer besides the Packers. We also love to visit Bay Beach Amusement Park. Bay Beach is amazing! There are not many places in the US where you can let your kids go on rides for a quarter or two. For $10 the kids get an afternoon of fun riding all kinds of rides! The most expensive ride is $1 and that is the roller coaster called the Zippin Pippin! Across the street from Bay Beach Amusement Park is the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a free park that offers some nice hiking trails and live animal exhibits. In the summer, watch out for the geese! They are definitely not afraid of people and will follow you everywhere if you have corn. If you enjoy seeing animals, not too far from Green Bay, is a zoo called the NEW Zoo. We love this zoo because its usually not extremely busy, at times if feels like we have the place to ourselves. The kids love feeding the giraffes and goats. There is also an adventure park attached to this zoo if you are feeling more adventurous!

My name is Angie. I am a wife, mother, and physical education teacher. I enjoy spending time and traveling with my family. We love the outdoors! Our biggest interests include camping, hiking, exploring our State and National Parks, and gardening. We raise chickens and tend to a few honey bee hives! Although we don't live on a farm, we try to embrace the idea of growing and raising our own food sources as much as we can. We are instilling in our children a love and respect for nature and adventure! I hope you enjoy reading about some of our adventures and I hope you get a chance to explore with your families as well!
